Cordless garden kit is next in line.

From 18 February 2027, the battery passport is mandatory for LMT, ride-on and commercial packs above 2 kWh — pulling in larger robot mowers and professional kit. Smaller domestic packs in cordless hedge trimmers, strimmers and leaf blowers sit just outside today, but procurement teams, major retailers and ESPR are already asking for passport-grade data.
